Goodyear Launch the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3

Earlier this year, Goodyear launched a brand new high performance tyre to follow on from predecessor Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 provides enhanced steering precision, impressive gripping capabilities and has been met with widespread critical acclaim from motoring publications including Auto Express.

The tyre’s launch was celebrated with a captivating video which was created with assistance from contemporary British artist Ian Cook, watch it here:

Shorter Braking Distances

Goodyear announced that independent tests have proven that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 provides dry braking distances that are 2.6 metres shorter and wet braking distances that are 1.3 metres shorter than leading competitor tyres*. This is thanks to enhanced Goodyear Active Braking Technology which works to increase the size of the tread blocks when braking to create a larger contact patch.

Enhanced Handling

In addition, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 has been constructed using a New Grip Booster compound, which is made with an adhesive resin to increase tyre stickiness, enabling it to provide impressive gripping capabilities. This strong grip and the tyre’s reinforced construction combine to provide responsive handling and high levels of steering control whilst driving.
